Shine's Szechwan, Maradin and Hunan Dishes
When Japanese restaurant Morida fused with next-door Chinese restaurant Shine, diners got a one-two punch of Asian cuisine. They can enjoy Shine's Szewan, Mandarin and Hunan dishes, Morida's Pacific Rim Sushi and tempura, or both. The restaurant has minimalist lines and understated decor, with inverted Chinese umbrellas on the ceiling as whimsical light fixtures, a few hanging Japanese lamps and a teapot or two on display in the artistic alcovers in the walls. But when diners want a particularly interesting visual, they sit at one of the 10 seats at the sushi bar, where sushi chefs assemble platters of nigri, maki mono and temaki that look almost too good to eat -- though it's likely one's appetitle will ultimately win out...
